About the Artist
Hello, my name is Beyza Tunçsoy. I was born in Istanbul in 1974.
I began my career in the textile industry before transitioning into the world of art through photography.
For 5–6 years, I attended Gül Yıldız’s photography workshop, where we focused on minimal and architectural photography.
I also completed a two-year photography program at the
Open Education Faculty.
Since 2020, I have been working with artist Deniz Say in her studio, focusing on abstract painting.
In some of my works, I blend the photographs I personally took with painting, using collage techniques to create unique visual narratives.

The Art of Feeling:
"Beyond
the Visible"
In abstract art, we express emotions not through figures or concrete objects, but through colors, textures, and composition.
Therefore, abstract painting can evoke different emotions in each viewer.
Abstract art is not about what is ‘seen,’ but what is ‘felt.’
It becomes a mirror to the viewer’s inner world.
A painting that triggers a sense of mental depth in one person might evoke feelings like loneliness or emptiness in another.
Brushstrokes are not applied in a planned manner but flow naturally.
This is what makes the abstract style unique.
It also opens a space of freedom for the artist.
In my paintings, I love playing with tones and shapes to evoke aesthetic emotions in the viewer.
And that’s what I work for.
